Dooli Notes Features — Summaries, Action Items, Finished Docs
Features

Everything between your voice and a finished document.

Four pillars, straight from the product: summaries, action items, management-ready documents, and privacy by design.

Summaries

TL;DR plus key points, pulled from even the messiest take. The gist first, the detail underneath.

Action items

Every “I should…” you said out loud becomes a checkable task — owners and deadlines included when you mention them.

Management-ready docs

Fifteen document types — from executive brief to HR doc — each formatted the way that document is supposed to look.

Private by design

Local-first storage. Your audio and notes never leave your device until you choose to export them.

All fifteen document types

Dooli picks the right one from what you said — or you choose. Either way, the output is formatted like the real thing, not a transcript wearing a costume.

Private by design — the actual architecture

Not a privacy-policy promise — a storage design. Here's what lives where, and when anything moves.

On your device

Your raw audio, your transcripts, and every structured note. They persist locally — sign out and back in, and they're still there. Delete the app, they're gone. Yours, physically.

In transit, briefly

When a note is structured, the transcript is sent to the model for writing and comes straight back. It isn't retained or used for training. That's the whole trip.

In your cloud — only when you say

Export is a deliberate tap, and it goes to your Google Drive as a native Google Doc or .docx — not to our servers. Until then, nothing is stored in any cloud.

For developers

Give your AI coding agent access to your voice notes.

Dooli ships an MCP server, so Claude Code, Codex, or any MCP-capable agent can read your structured notes as context. Ramble an architecture decision on your commute; your agent has the decision memo by the time you open the terminal.
